I shot these photo’s with and for my fabulous Aunt Patsi a while back. She has lived in this beautifull valley behind for many years. The valley is now under threat of development. Part profit of the sales of these prints goes toward Patsi’s ongoing legal and admin fees in keeping this area and it’s historic cottages safe from development. More info here… (link)

The weather seemed as if it might turn on the day and make the beach wedding tricky, but it held up and the rain stayed away. This gallery shows a wider cut of images from the wedding shoot than I normally post to the blog. Clients can generally expect between 300 and 600 mastered images from their wedding shoot.

Bernadene and Phillip
May 19th, 2011 § 0 comments § permalink
Bernadene and Phillip got married in the old stone church (beautifull – but tricky to shoot as it is very dark inside) and Knysna’s main road. They held their reception at Pezula. Once they had greeted everyone at the venue we shot off on gold carts to get some photo’s on the course, we nailed a few but decided to meet again a few days later on the beach to finish off their Bride and Groom Portraits when there was more time available, and the light just right.
Carmen and Tim
May 19th, 2011 § 0 comments § permalink
Carmen and Tim got married in the Buffalo Bay Chapel – an amazing (intimate) venue just off the N2 between Knysna and Sedgefield. I shot their Bride and Groom Portraits at ‘The Wild Side’ beach – they decided to include most of their (smallish) wedding party in these photos. I dont ussually recomend taking more than one or two with for the Bride and Groom photo session – but if you would rather have more of your family and friends and less of juts the two of you then I am happy to accomodate your wishes.
Lauren and Nick
May 16th, 2011 § 0 comments § permalink
Lauren and Nick got married in Klein Brak Rivier, between Mosselbay and George. I give all wedding clients a few treatment options for their images and have chosen to display a softened black and white/sepia set in this gallery. We shot their bride and groom portraits a few days after the ceremony as weather on the day and a slight delay in the days’s program meant that the light was not great for their portraits on the day. I offer this service as a standard no cost option (if logistically possible) – it means that there is one less thing for the bride and groom and all involved to stress about on the day.
